How to Navigate this Site
On each country's introduction page (i.e. "Italy!", "Spain!) a single click on a city button will take you to photos and comments. I've noticed it sometimes takes a while to load a page. It is there; it will load. Once on a page scroll down to read text and see photos. Each page (except for Rome) is in two sections. The first is side-by-side text and photos and the second is a photo slideshow which is set to run automatically. You can pause the slideshow by pressing in the top left corner. In the top right corner are arrows to manually click from photo to photo. Just above the slideshow, there are buttons to take you forward or back. Rome was a big city and it is organized differently. On the Rome page you'll find each of the major areas with a button to take you to the slideshow. You can return to the Rome page to then choose another area of Rome to browse. |
Firsts Italy was a series of firsts for me. I retired on January 1, 2015. First time to Italy; first time to Europe. First time using a new camera I'd been wishing for for a very long time, and setting off on the voyage of discovering and taking "the best picture ever." First cappuccino. (Yes, really!) Then there was the first photography class I've ever taken, followed by enrollment in my first Italian class. This is the first web site I've ever put together. I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed working on it. If you have comments, please don't hesitate to contact me at my e-mail: [email protected] (note that this isn't a blog and you won't see your comments here). Best regards, Carol |
